To all the young minds over there above and below the Equator, from the east and west of the Greenwich Meridian and the very north and south of the globe! You are the techno-giants and wizards of our world today and tomorrow. For you, your friends, and other students elsewhere is this blog created, so that you can write and post your creative thoughts here for the rest of the world to read.
As a techno-learner, you use cell phone, exchange text messages, chat and IM with friends.
As a techno-learner, you do your homework while listening to music and watching the television.
While this may not be the best study practice, you may have been so much hooked to it that, it's simply too late, if not highly impossible to change. To help you express yourself freely and better, and also get support from others around the globe, this blog has been created just for that purpose. So start posting and let friends around the world join right away!

Hello bloggers, my name is Kwame. I am currently a sophomore (Grade 10) at a high school in Massachusetts. I am 16 soon to be 17 this year in October. Just a few things I enjoy doing are playing sports such as baseball, basketball, and football. Now that you know a little about me, this is my comment.
For the past month or so, I've been reading a book that my guidance counselor gave me entitled, "A Million Little Pieces" by James Frey. Though there has been some controversy regarding this book and as to how totally true it is, the book is a great read. It was originally a memoir but because Frey has admitted that not everything in the book is completely honest or has even ever happened, it falls short of the requirements to qualify a book as a memoir because ALL the events MUST be true.
So far, Frey has got into a bad accident one day while he was drinking (he is a bad alchoholic and drug addict), and fell down in a fire escape. He badly distorts his face, to such an extent that he is now missing most of his teeth, there is a hole in his cheek, he has broken his nose, and there is blood all over the place. Being in the shape that he's in, he can barely bring himself to walk so he is brought to the best facility around that helps with addicts. This is where his journey to recovery and the wild story of a man who is so unbelieveably broken that he feels compelled to end his life begins.
If you have any experience with this book or have heard this book being commented on in the news or elsewhere, i ask you to please post any insight you have and share with people your knowledge on the subject. Thank You. As for me, I will continue to post as I progress through the book.
Your fellow Techno-Learner,
Kwame
